St. Louis Tionól at Focal Point

Traditional Irish Music at its best as the annual St. Louis Tionól kicks off its 28th year with an evening with some of the best traditional musicians on the planet. A major feature of the Tionól are the Irish “uilleann” pipes which have created the haunting sound so often heard in films. You’ll be guaranteed a toe tapping good time!
This performance at Focal Point will be followed by sessions in both Focal Point and Sabroso, our neighboring bar and restaurant. We also encourage you to visit Sabroso for any drink needs during the show and during sessions because outside drinks are not permitted at this event.
Here is a schedule for the entire weekend, Focal Point and beyond:
Thursday, April 10 – 7pm Ceili at Atomic 4140 Manchester followed by sessions
Friday, April 11 – 7:30 pm Concert at Focal Point followed by sessions
Saturday, April 12 – Workshops at St. Louis University H.S. (SLUH).
Check-in at 9:00, workshops run from 9:30-noon and 1:30-3:30.
Saturday Evening, April 12 – 7:30 pm Concert at the Sheldon
sessions at O’Connell’s pub will follow the concert.
Sunday, April 13 – 10:30 am brunch and sessions at John D. McGurk’s.
