The Lovestruck Balladeers enchant audiences with their masterful performances and inspired repertoire of ragtime, jazz and beautiful songs from around the world. Born out of New York’s vibrant classic jazz and traditional music scene, The Lovestruck Balladeers formed during a series of recording sessions for Jalopy Records’ 2018 release, Estrellas de Radio. Since their debut at The Brooklyn Folk Festival that same year, the versatile quintet has made a name for itself as a compelling act highlighting musical excellence, fresh arrangements, original songs and a tightly crafted stage show.
The Lovestruck Balladeers are Jake Sanders, Dennis Lichtman, Sean Cronin and Dalton Ridenhour. Featuring special guest Mike Davis.
Plus… an opening set by The Goldenrods who can be best described as “Country and Midwestern”. They perform charming original material as well as regional classics from across middle America. They play two steps, waltzes and polkas; songs both happy and sad, silly and serious, often sung in harmony.
The Goldenrods are fronted by Ryan Koenig (ex Pokey LaFarge, currently Rum Drum Ramblers, So Grand Polka Band, New Missouri Fox Hunters, Fiddlin’ Sam and the Bolo Band) singing and playing fiddle, octave mandolin, and guitar. The band is completed with Jess Adkins (Opera Bell Band, So Grand Polka Band) singing and playing accordion and guitar, as well as Kellie Everett (The Hooten Hallers, Arcadia Dance Orchestra) singing and playing upright bass.
